Exploring Nature · Connecting To You

Hey! My name is Alli Dickey and I am an environmental and science communicator with 7+ years of experience.
As the Social Media Specialist at Woodwell Climate Research Center, I run the social media, plan campaign strategy, and create content. I live in Athens, Georgia and share my passion for science while visiting the beach and mountains as much as possible.
I’ve previously written for National Geographic Kids Magazine, taught marine science on a five-acre island, traveled to South Africa for environmental journalism, and worked in marketing and public relations positions. Check out my resume to learn more.
I’m originally from Kansas City, Kansas, but I graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with two degrees in Conservation Biology and Journalism.
I love marine science, wildlife, and conservation, but I love communicating about it more. Follow me as I combine my two passions and explore the natural world!
